About PUSH

Bridging the Gap Between
Families & Resources

People Unified Striving Higher (PUSH) was established in 2024 to help individuals and households navigate complex systems connected to housing stability, public benefits, workforce programs, and community resources.

We work directly in communities to simplify these processes ensuring people can access the services and opportunities available to them. We serve extremely low-, low-, and moderate-income households, seniors, families, veterans, and youth across Los Angeles County.

Founded by Renea Ferrell

After more than 25 years in public administration and program management at the city, county, and state level, Renea founded PUSH to bridge the gap she saw firsthand where government programs exist, but people struggle to access them.

PUSH partnered with Arellano Associates and LA Metro to conduct community outreach and engagement for the Sunset Boulevard Bus Priority Lanes Project.

Our team worked directly with school staff, parents, and community members to gather input on how this transit improvement project would affect their daily routines and neighborhoods.
